Board Certified

Board Certification is a mark of excellence and a distinguishing accomplishment. Within the Texas legal community, Board Certification means an attorney has substantial, relevant experience in a select field of law as well as demonstrated, and tested, special competence in that area of law.

Local Servant

In addition to operating a private practice in the city of Palestine, Texas, Charles W. Nichols also faithfully served as Palestine’s City Attorney for 15 years from 1980 to 1995.

Pro Bono Work

Charles is a member of the Pro Bono College. Created in 1992 by the State Bar of Texas, the Pro Bono College recognizes attorneys who have far exceeded the State Bar’s aspirational pro bono goal in their efforts to address the vast unmet legal needs of the poor. The Pro Bono College honors Texas attorneys in good standing who perform 75 or more hours of pro bono legal services to the poor.
